A Tech-Happy Professor Reboots After Hearing His Teaching Advice Isn't Working

I thought this was an interesting article because it talked about what it takes to effectively use technology in your classroom. A professor can be successful when using technology if there is a connection with students providing them with the insight that what is being taught to be beneficial. The article points out lectures without professor student connections, allows students to maybe view assignments as games and just play them the way the professor requires it to done. Revisiting our teaching methods to see what works best and how we can better our technique is what being a good teacher is all about.

Technology cannot be use in every classroom but the one that can you the technology was be a very good tool for the teacher to use with their students.

  2. Hi Jovita, I didn't read this article but I think I can agree that there are times when in Kindergarten it's just to hard to use technology. Some of these technologies I am learning in our classes I just can't fathom being able to use with Kindergartners. They just aren't independent enough to not have me doing every step with them. I struggle to try to tweak my thinking and come up with ways to use some of the tech resources!
